Korma Rice Recipe: Korma rice recipe looks like it is made of mutton but korma rice recipe is a pure vegetarian recipe and is full of nutritious ingredients. Because sprouted moong is used in a wonderful way in Korma rice recipe. Along with this it is digestible. Korma rice made from milk, cashews and rice is also unique in taste. Along with adults, children can also eat korma rice with pleasure. Because korma rice is not spicy. Simple spices and less powder are used in Korma Rice. All the ingredients are very less for this. Ingredients to make Korma Rice
Rice 1 cup which should be soaked for half an hour
ghee two spoons
cardamom 2
cinnamon 1 piece
cloves 2
bay leaf 2
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Cashew-poppy seed paste 2 teaspoons
Cashew pieces 1 tbsp
Poppy seeds 1 teaspoon
salt to taste
for the core
Sprouted moong one and a half cup
onion half cup
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Tomatoes 3-4 cups
milk half cup
Fresh cream 1 tsp
Ghee 2 tbsp
Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
cardamom 2
salt to taste

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan and add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves etc. to it. After a few seconds, add soaked rice to it and let it cook on medium heat for a minute. After this add three cups of water, salt and turmeric powder and mix and let it cook for 10 minutes. After this take off the rice.
Now to make korma, heat ghee in a pan and add ginger-garlic paste, cardamom etc. to it. After a few seconds add onion to it and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add coriander powder, red chili, tomato etc. and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes. After this add sprouted moong, salt and keep stirring it for 5-7 minutes. Now mix cashew-poppy seeds paste, milk and cream in a bowl and put them in sprouted moong. After this, keep stirring it for 1-2 minutes. Now keep the korma aside in two equal parts. In this way your korma is ready.
How to mix korma and rice
Now wrap ghee all around in a baking bowl and spread one part out of three parts of rice in it all around the bowl. Now spread the prepared korma in it all around. After this, spread the layer of rice and korma one more time. Finally, spread the remaining rice over it. Now add milk to it and cover it. Now keep it in the microwave for 5 to 7 minutes or keep it in a hot oven. After that take it out. Now veg korma rice is ready. You can serve it.
